My First Black Friday
My first Black Friday commenced at 2:00AM. I was kidnapped by my wonderful friends to go to the mall. Prior to going to the mall we picked up the entire world from different parts of the Earth. We arrived at the mall around 4:00AM and stayed until a little after 6:00AM. It wasn't that bad in terms of crowded stores, however, at times it got a little "ratchett" when Clayton County's demoralized individuals began to act like lunatics.
The next stop was my friends house where the crew and myself took a nap before going to another shopping location. I didn't really sleep due to a crowded uncomfortable space, but I didn't mind because I was packed into a room with my favorite people.
We awoke and shopped at Kohl's because of my friends parent wanted to go there. I had never been there, only heard about it and I will probably never go back there again. It was a department store I suppose, only high prices for PLAIN clothing items...or maybe I didn't look hard enough.
The next stop was Atlantic Station! I love Atlantic Station for both it's aesthetic appeal and selection of clothing stores. I made purchases from Old Navy and H&M and had a blast of the atmosphere even though it was teeth-chattering cold!
We ended our night at another friends house watching movies, laughing and lounging around. Yes, that means within those days we operated on minimal sleep, me personally only 30 minutes and one meal. I can't believe I lasted as long as it did.
All in all, I am happy with my purchases from the four stores and I'm happy for being with my friends for 24hrs+ Did I mention all of them were in college and were visiting? I hadn't seen them in a long time so it was worthwhile.

Allow Me To Reintroduce Myself
In case you don't know me, I'm Jay. I have had several blogs and websites in the past and I am proud to say that I am officially back! It has been several months since I last owned a website (thisfiasco.net). School became a priority and I had insufficient funds to continue paying for the domain. Luckily, I've managed to figure out how to customize a Blogger which is completely free and now I can blog as much as I want for as long as I want without paying a cent. I can also use my web skills to make my blog possess a personal touch.
Meanwhile, I have had the desire to blog for many months now, yet I resorted to Twitter to release my thoughts. As much as I love Twitter, it failed to convey my thoughts - in detail that is. On this blog, I can exceed that 140 character limit and share my thoughts and opinions with more than just my twitter followers, but too, the world. I can also get feedback via blog comments or e-mails, and that will make sharing my thoughts more worth while.
The name of my blog is Nerdlosophy. Nerdlosophy is my pseudonym for the ideology of a nerd. With pride, I classify myself as a "modern day nerd," meaning, I am not the conventional four-eyed, role-playing, computer-game-loving nerd that is often depicted in pop-culture. Instead, I am just a guy who loves knowledge, school and nearly anything educational. Nerdlosophy seeks to rid the notion of what usually comes to mind when you think "NERD" and offer a new perspective on the word "nerd" itself.
You may wonder what kind of things I plan to write about. Mind you, this is a personal blog, so expect to see published blogs about anything and everything such as fashion, politics, music, and of course, my life. I'll be sure to keep it interesting to ensure that when you're on the web, you can read about the happenings of someone like myself.
This blog will be updated whenever I feel the urge to speak, so it is recommended that you check back daily! What's in a name?
Nerd*los*o*phy noun. - The "philosophy" of a Nerd.The name "Nerdlosophy should be relatively self-explanatory. In a nutshell, it is the teachings and beliefs on anything and everything from a nerd's point of view. Nerds are typically associated with intelligence and social-ineptness, however, once you follow this blog, you will learn that there is much more to nerds than smarts and awkwardness.
Nerd. It is not a state of mind, it's a way of life.
The Nerdboy
I'm an 18 year old senior topped with curiosity, eccentricity and creativity. I view the world as a book that I would gladly skim but never read...nor finish. I enjoy being on the computer of course, but I also have a keen interest in fashion and creative writing.
I been on the webscene for quite some time; 5 years to be exact. I've owned parts of the web as a blogger, a designer, a photographer and a resource provider. In the past, I have had exclusive rights to my own domains, but after being introduced to the world of AP classes and standardized testing, I lost time and refrained from paying for something I did not have time for.
No matter how much you socialize with me, read about me or analyze me, you will never understand me. I surprise myself every day, so if you think you know me, you're wrong.
